Section 1 Registration
- All senior teams must register by the OVSAA scheduling meeting.
- All senior teams must send registrations to the BCSSFA by September 30 or date specified by BCSSFA.
- Schools interested in starting a football program should log on to www.bchighschoolfootball.com
Section 2 School Size
- All schools with 300 or fewer boys in grades 11 and 12 may play AA but can play up in AAA.
- Schools over 300 boys in grades 11 and 12 must play AAA.
- Schools initiating a program at their school may play in AA for their first 3 years and enter AA playoffs if they are AAA size; however, they can only enter AAA playoffs after their first 3 years.
Section 3 Rules
- Officials are provided by the Provincial Certified BC High School Football League.
- League and playoff format will be discussed at the Provincial Scheduling meeting.
- The BCSSFA rules will follow the National Federation of State High School Associations rule book.
- Fields shall be inspected by the host school and shall be free of glass, sticks, and other debris
- All official markings must be present and clearly visible All field markers, nets, and protective padding shall be in place, where applicable, before the start of the game
