Ties in pool games will NOT be broken. Tie breakers from the Provincial Rules and Regulations will be followed; if in the same pool two teams are tied, the result between the two teams tied will determine which team will advance. If still tied:

  1. The team with the higher goal difference (which shall mean goals for less goals against) shall assume the higher position. A positive goal difference always takes precedence over a negative, and if this number should be the same, then…
  2. The team having been awarded the greater number of goals for shall assume the
higher position. If this number shall be the same, then…
  3. The teams will be ranked according to the results of the mutual match between the two or more involved teams. If this number should be the same, then…
  4. The matter shall be settled by the Technical Committee

Playoff games must be played to a result. Ties will be broken in the following manner:

  1. There will be a short break
  2. A coin will be tossed to determine which goal each team will attack and defend
  3. There will be a 10 minute Sudden Death overtime (the first team to score in the 10 minute period will win and the game is over)
  4. If the score is still tied at the end of the overtime period, then the Shoot Out System for tie breaking will be used using the Penalty Stroke Tie Breaker Procedure

Any situation not dealt with in Constitution or Rules and Regulations shall be decided by the Commissioner in consultation with the coaches.
